Item Description
This is an extremely rare boxed premium from the candy "Good And Plenty". Included is 4.25" long heavy cardboard mailing box with paper label which has .75" dia. spot of surface paper off the right edge but otherwise extremely clean. Box holds 2" tall thick plastic pin with the front designed as a very dimensional clown face accented by ears and a hat at the back. His nose is a light bulb and by means of an interior battery when the tag suspended below is pulled the nose will light. The tag is a 1" piece of square cardboard featuring the name "Jolo" at the center and surrounded by names of additional cast members "Doris/Lucky Pup/Foodini/Pinhead." Doris refers to Doris Brown, the only human on the show who narrated and hosted Foodini The Great 1951-1952. The premium pin is in Mint unused condition and it is the only example we've seen. An early television children's puppet show rarity.
