Item Description
17-1/8x23.75" cardboard w/original concept art measuring 12x19.5" (on separate sheet applied w/tape). From the collection of arcade historian Bill Kurtz, author of such books as "The Encyclopedia Of Arcade Video Games" and "Arcade Treasures." Original mixed media concept art for playing field for "Embryon" pinball machine produced by Bally in 1981. 2,250 units were produced. Despite being concept in nature, art is nicely finished and features image of adult woman in embryonic bubble at bottom center, surrounded by futuristic machine designs. Art differs slightly from finished production game. Art was created by Tony Ramunni and has been signed multiple times on reverse by the artist. Tape has aged slightly, w/center having .25" pull. Board shows moderate margin wear but art remains VF and issues could be easily matted out for display. Original pinball art rarely comes up for sale and is highly coveted. Framed art stands alone as a great piece of art in its own right and would be the perfect piece for your game room.
