Item Description
Lot of five sketches obtained in-person at comic book conventions during the 1970s. Sketches are on sheets measuring 8.5x11" to 9x12". Included are sketches of Marvel's Captain Marvel by Jim Starlin, The Incredible Hulk by Len Wein, sketch by William Stout (possibly a caricature "To Richard" who holds copy of "Conan #1"), full body Green Lantern and Green Arrow head sketch by DC Comics and Marvel Comics artist Joe Brozowski and nicely realized full body Batman sketch by Eisner/Harvey Award winner and "Astro City" co-creator Brent Anderson (early in his career). The Batman, Green Lantern/Green Arrow and Captain Marvel sketches are particularly well done, almost having the appearance of finished art. Green Lantern/Green Arrow sheet has moderate aging w/small tears/chips to top margin, not affecting art. VG w/VF art. Rest have some lt. scattered handling wear and are Fine-VF overall w/Exc. art.
