Item Description
37x56" fabric banner with gold fringe displayed on original 47" wood rod with gold cord. "1776/165 Years Of Independence/1941/God Bless America/With The Townsend Plan/We Are Proud To Be/Americans." Probably hung at 6th National Townsend Convention in Buffalo, NY 1941. Large blue panel has many lighter blue lines from loss of surface color but entirely stable. Bottom left has dark moisture line around the "A" of America. Overall Fine and still very impressive banner. Rare.
