Item Description
The cereal box flat is 8.5x11" and was never glued into a box shape. This was a 1951 premium offer with the offer covering the entire reverse of the box. The box has a 1" hairline tear by the fold line on one small bottom side flap. Otherwise just a little age tone but still overall Exc. Comes along with a 1951 page titled "Advertisement" which was clipped out of a comic book. The premiums are 1-3/16" plastic rimmed flicker disks issued as a set of 16 but with the plastic frames in five different color varieties. We will list the subjects and specify the number in frames of different colors. Pauline Betz (4), William Holden (4), Bob Hope (2), Gene Kelly (3), Jane Powell (2), Mark Trail (4), Mark Trail-'Andy' (3, his dog), N.Y. Central Railroad (3 including one in original packaging), Clyde Beatty (4), Bobby Riggs (4), Douglas Jet D58-2 Skyrocket (2), American Airlines DC6-B (4), Republic F-84 Thunderjet (3), Tom Corbett-Space Cadet (2), Space Cadet Rocket Ship (2), American Airlines Stewardess (5). 51 of these in all. The most complete group we've ever seen. Flashers are largely in Exc. to Mint condition.
