Item Description
7.5" dia. glazed ceramic bowl produced in England in the early 1930s. Exceptional scene is captioned "Here's Something To Tickle You." Depicted is Mickey Mouse holding a pointed dagger and jabbing a heavy-set pig in farm overalls and hat, making him leap into the air. Lower edge of scene includes "Walter E. Disney" name. Underside has the Paragon company mark and notes this piece as part of their "Mickey Mouse Series." The scene has scattered small wear as well as wear to title text and rim accents. Underside of center has three 1" hairlines, one barely showing through on top. Bowl remains structurally sound and displays Fine. All Paragon china is highly sought after and we've only been able to offer this design a few times. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
