Additional poster text notes "The World's First And Only Group Of Performing Black Leopards - Captured In Malayan Fastnesses By Bring 'Em Back Alive Frank Buck For The Greatest Show On Earth." Jacobs, known as "The Lion King," was one of the greatest wild animal trainers, featured in 16 different circuses and carnivals during his 40 year career. In 1938-1939, while working w/the Ringling Bros., Barnum and Bailey Circus Terrell performed w/the largest number of lions, tigers and leopards that had ever been assembled in one arena. Poster was printed by Strobridge Litho, 1938. Poster has thin margin replacement, blue color touch-ups along bottom margin and some tape on reverse.
