Item Description
For "Super Powers" toyline information, see previous item #2623. Offered here is the prototype for a never-released "Super Powers" Supergirl action figure. 4.25" tall mock-up prototype figure was created using one of Kenner's "Glamour Gals" figures. The figure has rooted hair and has been hand-painted, Supergirl's uniform (complete w/small "S" logo on breast) and boots added over the pre-existing "Glamour Gal" figure. Figure has also had a separate thin vinyl cape added. Figure has joints at neck, shoulders, waist and hips. Figure has some aging to legs, which have become slightly tacky due to aging. Small spot of paint on one leg and cape has some small spots of blue paint transfer. Displays Fine. Unique and historic. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
