Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid label contains 2.75x8x3.75" tall tin litho pram w/painted composition full body figure of Minnie Mouse who pushes pram, two tin litho three-dimensional figures of little Mickey and Minnie Mouse and three-dimensional tin litho figure of Pluto on front of pram. Sides of pram are decorated w/images of semi-long bill Donald Duck on one side and Mickey Mouse playing mandolin on the other. Mickey side has built-in key. Made in England and o/w unmarked, but by Wells O'London. c. 1935. When wound, toy works well and Minnie pushes pram forward. Trace of wear to tin litho wheels but o/w NM, old store stock. Both Mickey and Minnie versions were produced for this toy, both are scarce, but this Minnie version is seldom seen. Box has end panel marked "No. 146 M/M Pram - Made In England" and shows wear and label is aged w/some scattered rippling and moisture staining. Box and lid both remain tight and are Fine overall. Box is very rare. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
