Item Description
Lot of three, each is 2.5" square by .75" deep tin litho. First is c. 1930s w/image of Scotsman standing in front of refrigerator noting "Thrifty" benefits of GE refrigerators. Each side panel has additional note that these units save on "Quantity Buying, Ice, Leftovers, Bargain Buying." Reverse has woodgrain design. Scattered paint wear, mostly evident along edges (which show traces of bare metal) and large scratch from use on trap. VG/Fine. Scarce. Next is c. 1930s circus theme w/large clown portrait w/saxophone-playing monkey on top and circus scenes on sides. Trap has different clown/monkey image. This is "Orange Hat" version as another version exists w/much darker red coloring. Rims shows wear w/bare metal streaks showing. Fine overall, but still displays nicely. Last is 1940s w/elf images on sides and woodgrain design on back. Gold luster edges/sides show wear w/pitting to luster on sides. Fine.
