Item Description
Large 12.5x19.25" Whitman No. W967 w/six single-sided pages (counting covers). ©1932. Cut-out book features "Fire Engine, Steam Shovel, Motor Transport Truck, Airplane Carrier, Dirigible" and "Prairie Schooner." Dirigible contained in book is the ill-fated "Akron" destroyed in a thunderstorm in 1933 with a loss of 73 men. While there are some loose perforations, contents are complete and unused. Pinch creases to spine. VF overall. From the Don Maris Collection.
