Item Description
As a 2007 advertising campaign, upon the release of "The Simpsons" animated movie, just a dozen 7-Eleven convenience stores around the country were refitted (for a short time in July, 2007) to appear like the fictional "Kwik-E-Mart" convenience store featured on "The Simpsons" TV show and movie. This included this 6'3" two-dimensional display of "Kwik-E-Mart" proprietor Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. Apu is made of polystyrene w/a laminated plastic shell and is depicted wearing his "Kwik-E-Mart" name tag. Display has some scattered wear from being on public display in a convenience store, including some tiny scuffs on green coat area, one pant leg and coat sleeve. Front of pants have .25" rub area. likely from shipping in cardboard container. Apu's hair has some scattered tiny scuffs as well but overall he still displays VF w/bright colors. Extremely limited production. Rare.
