Item Description
7.25x14" envelope contains 1941 Libby Foods premium. © Famous Artist Syndicate. Envelope has assembly and usage instructions printed on both sides. Back has "Treasure Hunt Game" gameboard. Envelope complete w/pair plain cardboard packing inserts. Scattered margin wear and moderate dust soiling on envelope. Fine. Premium consists of pair of 7x14.5" die-cut stiff paper sheets that are to be assembled to form the Terryscope. These sheets also contain four small playing pieces for envelope game. Terryscope body includes illustrations of several characters including Terry, Dragon Lady and Burma. The two Terryscope pieces are made w/small mirrors glued on back side. These mirrors are here but have come loose due to the glue drying out. When the glue dried, it flaked off in tiny black flakes. Tiny scattered trace of these flakes have adhered to the two sheets although vast majority are on the blank reverses. The flakes that are on the front are so minute that appearance is not affected. Both sheets are NM. Mirrors have noticeable loss of silvering due to their detachment. Overall Fine. Rare. From The Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
