8x10” sheet of lined note paper has “Sep 17 1987” ink stamp date at upper right. Letter is in ink on one side to “Henry Kahns”. Letter mentions working in dad’s hardware store and being Boy Scout. Three movie related paragraphs include: “ Katharine Hepburn Is A Wonderful Person And I Like Her Very Much. It’s A Wonderful Life Is My Favorite Picture. Alfred Hitchcock Was A Very Fine Director And A Good Friend. I Was Very Honored To Receive The Academy Award”. Signed “All My Best, James Stewart”. A few faint handling creases, otherwise Exc.
