Original manila folder titled “War” in pencil c.1952-53 holds material for potential publication. Includes eight different lead pencil cover designs. Five paper sheets are 8.5x11”, two vellum sheets are 10.25x13.5”. All have combat action scenes. Unsigned. Folded as submitted for approval. Good/VG. Comes w/ six page list in pencil detailing story titles and pages for issues and 16 printed pages w/ info typed in. Also includes ten typewritten scripts and 21 story photo stat pages. Folder has dust soil and aging, contents have light edge wear. Fine/VF. Only 11 issues were published. From editor Will Lieberson’s personal Fawcett comic book files. Unique.
