Item Description
These are .75" to 2.5". Vast majority are buttons with a few lapel studs and stick pins interspersed. Vast majority of these are 1920s and earlier. In row one company names are: Santa Fe, Burlington Route, Gorge Route (two different) with these first four being lapel studs. Washington-Sunset Route/California, North-Western stick pin. In row two: Soo Line, Canadian Northern, B.R.&P.RY., Union Pacific (WWI), B&O Surgeons Convention (light age), New York Central Lines, Southern Pacific Junior Engineer (brass). In row three: Union Pacific with suspended brass bell, Elgin porcelain watch dial with pin on reverse and ribbons naming "Reading Company Veterans 1931." Dial has a single hairline barely showing. C and O Veteran Employee Convention, 1928, K.C.T.RY. Employee large button with inked name at center. Good bit of gray discoloration. In row four: Rochester Railway Employees, North-Western Line, North Western Line with serial number and "Sample" across the center. Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway. In row five a coal car inscribed "M&IRCA." Classic button from "Great Northern Railway" promoting "Free Homes In The Great Northwest/Under The Stars And Stripes." Some surface scratches and tiniest bit of age on close inspection. Louisiana Railway And Navigation Company with light stain. "Birmingham-Southern." Many rarities.
