Item Description
23x28.5" poster ©1918 Retail Merchants Association. Columbus, Ohio. Poster has great images by Ireland and shows Uncle Sam in military uniform, blowing whistle and giving the all-clear for soldiers to give Santa Claus and his sleigh a push off. Santa's sack is marked "Uncle Sam Says 'Go!'" Additional text at top reads "Clear The Way - War Has Restricted Production, Fuel, Labor, Transportation - There's Every Reason To Clear Away Christmas Shopping Now." Left and right margins have some professional restoration, but this is blends well and only slightly affects far left image area by Santa's reindeer and is not noticeable as linen-mounted. Poster still display VF w/bright colors.
