Item Description
5x7x3.5" tall clear plastic-encased shooting arcade has generic plastic spring-loaded pellet gun attached to tapered front end. Produced by Marx as a prototype c. 1966 and art/image differ somewhat from the production piece. Two different sizes were made. See item #2376 for larger version. Playing field has all hand-painted art that has been attached to a Marx production Batman arcade target game. Includes portrait image of Batman and Robin at front w/"Batman - Robin" comic book logo directly behind them and separate target images of Batman villain The Joker and Robin. Additional small revolving targets include images of Catwoman, Joker, Vulture, thugs and squirrels and bkg. shows Batmobile. Plastic case shows aging/wear and loose target image (though no target prongs are empty) seems to feature Batgirl. "G 138" labels on back and undersides. VF overall. One of a kind, from the John Bowers Collection.
