Item Description
6-5/8x17" artboard has original mixed media (mostly marker) design concept art for inflatable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles "Bop-Bag" on paper that has been cut out and applied to artboard. Stat of fist punching bag and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" logo also attached. Interestingly, Turtle on bag is shown wearing red bandana (Raphael wore red in the cartoon) w/nunchaku weapons, and "M" Michaelangelo (who wore orange in cartoon) belt. Lightly aged, but art remains clean and VF. 9.5x16.75" artboard has pencil drawing of young boy w/backpack. Backpack has attached 4.5x7" piece of paper that has mostly marker original art similar to that used on punching bag. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" logo is also attached. Exc. Late 1980s. Both pieces have onionskin paper overlays. Nice pre-production art pair.
