Item Description
In Auction #207, an example of this button in Mint condition realized $460 and we thought it was the final example of three from the Levin Collection. As far as we know, it was the final Mint condition example. However, we discovered this example which has scattered dark brown age dots mostly on extreme outer edge w/just one that extends inward about 1/8". The typical lt. oxidation on the reverse is about the same as on the previous Mint example. The 1.5" dia. button depicts Seuss's mustachioed, furry Lorax creature standing atop a vertical wood log. Lower right rim text has small "©1971 Dr. Seuss & A.S. Geisel" text. Button retains full gloss, w/no color fade.
