Item Description
Lot of three thick softcovers, bound to contain every comic book published by Marvel Comics in June, 1992. Each volume contains 24 issues, including all of Marvel's most popular titles - "The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Avengers" and several lesser known titles like "Bill & Ted's Excellent Comic Book" and "Pirates Of Darkwater." These three numbered volumes each feature the same cover art showing Spider-Man, Thor, Ghost Rider, the Incredible Hulk, Punisher and Captain America. Printed for distribution at the 1992 comic book retailer's summit in Baltimore, MD. These promotional books contain comic art by some of the most popular artists of the day, including - John Byrne, Jim Starlin, Gene Colan, John Romita Jr., Erik Larsen and Rob Liefeld. It was around this time that Larsen and Liefeld were among Marvel artists who left Marvel to form Image Comics. Volumes are lightly aged but complete and VF. Very limited and something very different for the Marvel completist.
