Item Description
c.1940s. Both are from the “Abbie ‘N Slats” comic strip. Each is 8x11” on stiff board. Each has printed “R.Van Buren” signature but is also signed in ink by the artist. Framed example is signed “To Mrs. Ruth Van Sciver With Best Wishes From Slats Scrapple And Raeburn Van Buren”, the other is signed as character by the artist “Sincerely Becky Groggins”. Both have lt. tanning and a few moisture marks. Good/VG. Slats print is scarce.
