Lot of four boxed limited edition watches produced for Mickey Mouse's 50th Anniversary in 1978. First is plastic case w/hinged lid that contains watch w/1.25" dia. goldtone metal case. Dial features modern image of Mickey w/animated hands set against silver luster bkg., numbers in gold luster. Back of case has "50 Happy Years" logo and individual incised edition number of "1703." Foil-covered slipcover has scattered edge wear, Fine. Plastic case is Exc. Watch has trace of wear to gold luster around extreme rim edge but remains old store stock, running and has original foil price tag noting cost of $19.95. Exc. and comes w/warranty paper. Next are three different varieties of battery-operated watches. Each comes in plastic case w/hinged lids. Included are - 1.25" dia. gold luster metal case w/brushed gold metal dial, one smaller 1" dia. version and other is same version in silver. All three feature classic 1930s image of Mickey w/animated hands. All were issued in 1978 as a "Limited Registered Edition Commemorating The 50th Anniversary Of The Mickey Mouse Watch." Back of each case has "50 Years" logo and individual incised numbers 9758, 1276 and 7095. Warranty papers are included for two and smaller gold watch comes with original outer box. Plastic cases are Exc. w/watches Mint as issued.
