Pair of 4.5" and 4-7/8" tall plaster statues issued in 1932 by Fould's. From the basic set of 12 figures that were issued unpainted. Both have been very nicely painted by original owner. 4.5" tall variety depicts him w/chimpanzee between his legs and no name on base front. Moderate aging w/a few tiny scattered paint flakes. VG/Fine. Scarce variety. Slightly taller statue stands on rectangular base w/incised name "Tarzan" on the front edge. Figure has lt. trace of dust soiling. Appearance is still nice VF.
