Item Description
Lot of nine original film negative strips, comprising 51 photographic images in total. Photos were taken in July, 1970 and feature the new line-up of Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention. This new line-up included - Ian Underwood, Jeff Simmons, George Duke, Mark Volman, Howard Kaylan and Aynsley Dunbar. Negatives come in original glassine sleeves and are NM. Negatives show the group in candid poses in front of a store. The entire line-up is seen in all but three images, w/an additional three images showing a bizarre close-up of the underside of a stuffed giraffe the group poses w/in some shots. The group can be seen through the giraffe's legs. Another five images show keyboardist Ian Underwood using two trash can lids as cymbals. Negatives come w/two original 8x10" glossy contact sheets and four original 8x10" glossy photo prints. Comes with Hake's COA and Rockaway Records LOA.
