Item Description
This rare pulp premium was offered April 1, 1934 to the end of August, 1934 which accounts for its great rarity. It consists of a 1.25" tall piece of wood with curved sides for easy grasping. On the underside is a rubber stamp bearing the logo of "The Shadow." The piece was originally issued with the word "Member" above the logo but for some reason the rubber bearing that word was neatly cut off from the stamping area. Although incomplete, the Shadow logo, the important part of the item, remains in Extremely Fine condition and will produce a nearly complete ink stamp as shown in our photo. The Hake Guide values on this piece are: Good $350; Fine $700; Near Mint $1,400. First example we've been able offer in many decades.
