Item Description
Lot of four, for four consecutive comic book issues. All are c. early 1960s. Each thin artboard has India ink image area ranging in size from 9.25x10" to 9.25x11". Art is for Harvey Publications issues #110-113. Each is boldly signed by creator George Baker at bottom of image area. Scenes include Sad Sack on maneuvers w/duck on his helmet being shot at, getting ready to give nervous Sarge an injection, running w/gunpowder keg about to be blown up by cigar smoker, stitching shirt in bunk bed and sticking Sarge in top bunk. All images also feature dog "Muttsy". All are boldly signed in ink at bottom by creator George Baker. A few margin pencil notes. Image area will mat and frame to Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
