Item Description
All from 1903. Each is in shrink wrapped archival mat w/openings ranging from 10x13.75” to 11x14”. Each features Teddy Roosevelt Brownie in Rough Rider outfit. Each page is a complete six panel adventure w/rhyming captions. Storylines include sea ride, bird hatching an American flag, playing musical instruments and having rats thrown at them by natives, being attacked by vampire bats. One page has lt. curling at bottom as originally issued as front of “Los Angeles Herald” newspaper. Overall Fine/VF. Superb art throughout by creator Palmer Cox. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
