Item Description
2-5/8x6-1/8" fabric with nice sheen names the successful 1872 Republican candidate plus text "Central Campaign Club." Top 1" of fabric has tan age tone with rest essentially Mint except for original owner's name (Chas W Schell) lightly inscribed on reverse. Hartranft was an Union Army Major General during the Civil War and here he rides the coattails of his deceased Commander-In-Chief President Lincoln. Rare.
