Item Description
Four pieces professionally framed and matted to overall size of 26.5x32.5". Wood frame w/plexiglass. These masks are from 1933 and were offered free, one per package of Quaker Crackels. Made by Einson-Freeman Co., Inc. First and foremost is the store window sign, 12x21" w/unused adhesive strips on right/left margins. Great image of Mickey's body w/his head represented by the mask. Notes how they were obtained and has inked price at designated area. Scattered lt. creases, some as originally folded and most of sign has tanned w/age. Other edge wear but still displays as Fine. Below this is the original envelope that contained a supply of masks as sent to the store. Env. has text to "Mr. Grocer" and makes note of the sign w/image of this. Aging and handling wear. Fine. Next to the env. are a pair of matching die-cut masks of Mickey and Minnie. These are Exc. An incredible display piece as framed. The env. is scarce and the sign is rare, the only example we have offered in our 46 years.
