Item Description
1950s art for premium that was ultimately produced by Sunbeam Bread in 1950. 13x14" thick art board has 10x11" thin art board in center w/6.5x7.75" image area. Cut out and pasted up bw india ink art includes rubber band gun w/photostat on right handle of Range Rider portrait. Design was used for both cowboys but art does not include any Autry image, only his name. Two original art targets show rattlesnake and Indian on warpath. Includes photostat directions and small photostats of three different guns as assembled. Gene Autry name is hand-lettered. Margins of board have dust soiling, pencil and ink color notes, art image area has glue stains around edges w/a bit of brown show-through from glue on reverse of photostat text. Gun and target art are Exc. A unique item for the western collector or premium enthusiast. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
