Auction #205 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1426 in auction 205
1950s. 22x28-3/8" card stock for event held September 25-26 at Richmond Atlantic Rural Exposition. Text at bottom "The Show That's Alive With Death". Edges and margins have scattered pinholes, top left side edge is missing .25x.75" piece in blank area. Scattered faint moisture marks. VG overall but would frame and display nicely. Earl "Lucky" Teter coined the phrase Hell Drivers when he began touring with his show in 1934. Stunts including jumping an automobile ramp through midair, crashing through barricades on fire and driving cars on two wheels. Colors are strong and bright.
