7 5/8x10" glossy photo dated December 5, 1933 on reverse has nice photo taken in sunlight showing Walt Disney receiving large foldout diploma with 44" tall Charlotte Clark Mickey and Minnie display dolls on table in background. Reverse side has printed caption paper with text “Walt Disney, Famous Creator Of Mickey And Minnie Mouse, Is Presented With A Diploma Of Honor From The National Academy Of Fine Arts Of Buenos Aires By Dr. H. C. Niese, Argentine Counsul In Hollywood”. Margins have pinholes, sides of image area have red pencil crop marks as done for printing purposes, photo has a few lt. handling creases, mostly just visible in reflected light. Overall Fine. We sold a pair of dolls like these two in Auction #192 for a record price of $151,534. Nice sharp image.
