c. 1960. 6.5x11.5" original plain cellophane bag contains fabric head scarf with snap fasteners which unfolds to full size of 21x32". Complete with 4.5x8" illustrated paper folder which opens to 11" wide. Front cover has nice photo of Mansfield standing full figure with text "Jayne Mansfield Introduces The Most Exciting New Head Fashion Of The Year! The Scarf Of The Stars/The Sensational Hollywood Hed-Topper Wear It 8 Different Ways" along with price of $2.98. Inside of folder shows Mansfield in eight different poses wearing scarf. Folder includes coupon to order various colors, this particular example is black. Cellophane bag is a bit cloudy with age. Folder has light bends. Fine. Topper scarf is unused and Mint. Interesting merchandising item endorsed by one of Hollywood's top glamour queens.
