Item Description
Adjustable brass ring base has word "Flying" on one side above atomic symbol with stars while the other side has the word "Saucer." This side shows tiny spaceship also accented by stars. Attached at top is a launching spinner and an original string. There is a 2" dia. aluminum "Flying Saucer" disc which fits on a post on the ring top. When the string is pulled the saucer launches rapidly into the air. The string need to be wound tight for flying action to function properly. Small luster loss off the base but about 90% luster remaining. About 30% of the glow-in-the-dark material is missing from the underside of the saucer but the 70% remaining glows intensely after light exposure. Red paint on the spinner on the ring top is near 100% complete. An Extremely Fine example.
