This is from 1954 and near the end of the era of brass based premium rings. The base design includes rocket ship, star and planet designs along with a moon face. On the top is a large plastic gun with end cap which glows in the dark. This end cap pulls off and there is viewing lens at the rear end of the gun. When this is held to the light the interior view is simply black specks on a gray background somehow meant to represent hydrogen atoms. If held and viewed towards a very bright light some of these details are still visible although not very precisely defined. The ring itself is in Exc. condition with just the tiniest luster loss on one corner of the ring base.
