Item Description
c. 1934 by N.N. Hill Brass Co. who produced a number of different Disney telephone toys (see Donald Duck #2416) including several color and style variations of this Mickey phone one of which was a bank, but this is the standard toy phone-only variety. It is also the variety that has Mickey figure which pops up rather than being stationary. Color variety is green rather than red. 4.5x8x4" tall pressed steel with thick die-cut cardboard Mickey figure attachment. Rotary dial works, rings and figure moves as intended. Original cord attaches handset to base. Mickey has dust soiling and edge wear, phone has paint nicks while silvered metal parts have trace of surface oxidation. VG/Fine. Scarce.
