Item Description
Sizes range from 3.25x5-3/8" to 5-1/8x8.25". Includes c. 1959 postcard showing Elvis in army private uniform with German Shepherd dog at left and holding reins of two horses at right with bw photo in center of the Colonel dressed as Santa Claus. Back variety has Western Union telegram copy with Elvis mentioning he will "Do My Best To Have A New Record Soon As I Return" from army duty in Germany. Second postcard c. 1961 is regular government issue with printed image on back of Elvis on back wearing lei with facsimile signature "Aloha Elvis Presley" with greeting in Hawaiian. Third item is sheet with text "Seasons Greetings From Elvis And The Colonel" showing the Colonel dressed as Santa Claus standing next to man in Snowman suit who may be Elvis. c. 1963. Largest card is c. 1965 showing Elvis in red jacket with hand on chair. Snowman sheet has lt. vertical crease through center probably from original mailing, otherwise group is unused and Exc.
