Item Description
Each is 11x14" with linen finish for Warner Bros. feature film. Cagney card is from 1942 and is title card for classic film "Yankee Doodle Dandy" based on the story of George M. Cohan. Wonderful image of Cagney dancing with co-star Joan Leslie. Card is lightly yellowed and has a few minor creases just visible in reflected light. VF appearance. Cagney won the Academy Award for Best Actor and the film won Academy Awards for best music, scoring, sound and recording. Second card is from 1940 "A Dispatch From Reuters" based on the life of Julius Reuter who turned his small company into Europe's most respected news wire service. Scene shows well-dressed Robinson in top hat along with two co-stars looking up in sky. Card is evenly yellowed and right side edge has three dark areas from earlier tape removal. Near Fine appearance. Nice pair for two of Hollywood's great actors.
