Item Description
4.5" long made by Distler Germany pre-1914. Scarce wind-up version with built-in key. Works well. Nicely detailed lithography. Includes lifeboats. Non-wind-up version is shown in "The Book Of Penny Toys" by Pressland, page 109. Some darkening of finish on wheels and scattered lt. to moderate wear. Fine overall. Works well.
