Item Description
Timely knew they had a solid cover subject, but they always threw a story that featured a great, more traditional hero in the book. For this issue, the Sub-Mariner has a solo spotlight. The cover is highlighted by a beautiful blonde racing across the center, but the real action is behind her in the left had corner. It looks like a psychotic physician is holding a knife to the throat of the patient he should be operating on. What is even more puzzling is that the Police are looking on as if nothing is going on. For more on the history of the Blonde Phantom, please read our listing for Blonde Phantom #13 elsewhere in the comic listings. The pages are cream to off-white. The book is CGC-certified 9.0 (VF/NM). According to the CGC census, this copy is tied with one other as the second highest graded copy they have seen.
