Item Description
Tim Healy was a real life explorer who also hosted radio programs of various titles between 1934-1945 all with a stamp collecting theme and typically sponsored either by Ivory soap or Kellogg's Pep cereal. This item is from the first year of the club in 1934 and is beautifully designed as a 1-1/8" tall postal stamp complete with perforated brass edge. At center is his portrait accented in brass luster and black enamel paint all against deep red enamel background. While a relatively common premium this is an outstanding N. Mint example displaying Mint.
