Item Description
c.1966 by Koyo. Exclusive to the Japanese market. 6.25" wide 7" long overall with wonderful art image of Batman on top and image of Robin from chest up on right wing. Left wing has bat cape logo and top of tail has art image of Batman with cape drawn up on both sides. Noticable oxidation on the silver underside and small wheel is missing from rear landing gear. Right wing and tailfin have noticable aging/wear with some rust. Underside, wing and tailfin are Good and all areas of oxidation have stabilized. Rest of illustrated plane's surface shows just normal lt. wear and remains Fine. Working. Very rare, this is one of only two examples our consigner has seen and this is the actual example shown in “Bat-Manga” book by Pantheon Books. From the Saul Ferris Collection.
