5x8" 4-page menu for event held at The Willard Hotel Sept. 8, 1930 honoring Capt. Dieudonne Coste and Maurice Bellonte "In Tribute To Their Historic Flight From Paris To Dallas, Texas". Inside front cover has program including list of speakers: the Vice-President of the United States, Col. Edward V. Rickenbacker, Major-General Hubert B. Crosby. Music was by U. S. Navy Band Orchestra. Menu included fillet of bass and Long Island duck. Back cover is blank. Front cover has been nicely signed at top in pencil with 3.5" long "Eddie Rickenbacker" signature. Menu has lt. vertical fold through center, blank back cover is dust soiled. Overall Fine with Exc. autograph. Rickenbacker is noted for being a flying ace pilot in WWI, race car driver, bomber pilot in WWII, had his own automobile company, and managed several airlines including Eastern.
