c. 1934. 8x10” glossy photo showing bare-fisted Max Baer in fighting post looking at viewer with facsimile signature at lower right. Text across bottom includes “Presented By The Quaker Oats Co., Makers Of Quaker Crackels.” Trace of lt. handling wear here and there, mostly just visible in reflected light. Lower left corner has faint fingerprint. Fine. Much rarer than the matching Quaker Oats premium Babe Ruth photo. Nice image. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
