11.75x15.75” wood frame has cardboard mat with photographer stamp at lower left “San Angela, Pottstown, Pa.” 6.75x10.75” photo in center has float designed like battlefield scene with numerous doughboys with weapons, barbed wire and rubble with nurse in center treating wounded soldier. Covered truck cab for driver resembles a tent. Photo most likely taken for Pottstown area parade. Frame has color rubs around edges, mat has trace of lt. aging around sides. Fine. Photo is sharp and Exc. Wonderful image. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
