Item Description
Complete set of all 6 Boots titles known to us, measuring between 3x3-7/8” to 3x4-3/8”. All c. 1930s. Titles include: “Boots In Too Good, …In Love’s Labor Lost, …In Someone To Love!, …Boots Gets Hot In ThePants, Boots.” All feature Boots (from Boots And Her Buddies comic strip that ran 1924-1969) engaging in various sexual exploits. “Boots Gets Hot In The Pants” and last title have same story though art, text and covers have been re-done. This is the first example we’ve seen of this being done for an 8-pager. Varying degrees of handling wear with spine wear and dust soiling. Fine/VF overall. Last “Boots” title shows heavy cover dust soiling and is Good/VG.
