12.25x14.75” frame contains New York Co. National Cigarette & Tobacco Co. paper advertising sign that has been matted to 8x10.5”. Nice color illustration at center by R.F. Outcault showing Yellow Kid with giant mug of beer, his shirt reading “Gee I Would’nt Drink Many Like Dis.” This same image is the image shown on Yellow Kid button #1. c. 1896. Vertical crease at center. As framed, displays VF.
