Item Description
3x8x3.5" tall tin litho marked "Made In Japan." Many different ice cream trucks of this style were produced in the 1950s, some w/just subtle differences so we will note all markings for this reason. This truck has a tin driver figure who holds a chain connected to a bell. Has sliding roof. The freezer body is marked "Delicious Ice Cream" w/image of an ice cream bar that has a bite out of it. Side edges of roof read "Fresh Peach Ice Cream." Back of truck has a list of seven different ice cream flavors plus large word "Delicious" and is complete w/small opening door which is often missing. License plate reads "1960." Left side is marked "Caution Watch Children" while right side has list of seven flavors and image of three ice cream bars. The front fenders read "Please Watch For Children." Hood ornament is of a red cross. Toy has working friction mechanism and produces a bell ringing sound.
