Item Description
Lot of four 10.25x15", all published by Merrill Publishing Co., 1943-1944. Each features cover art by Fredric C. Madan. Included here are "We Fly For The Navy" #3460, "Spot The Planes" #3473, "Flying Forts" #3472 and "Flying Cadets" #4808. Planes featured include Grumman Avenger, Martin Mariner PBM, Douglas Dauntless, Vought Corsair, Curtiss-Wright P-40 Warhawk, Messerschmitt ME 109, Junkers JU Stuka, Spitfire, Catalina, Flying Fortress, Mitsubishi Zero, many others. All are unused, likely Merrill file copies. "Fly For The Navy" has a few pages w/.5" corner tips off due to brittleness of outside pages. Rest are VF/Exc. overall.
